A: Absolutely! DekkoTime is web-based and can be accessed from any computer with a web browser and internet connection.
Q:Is DekkoTime secure?
A: Very Secure! We utilize SSL with 128-bit encryption to ensure that your data is handled care.
Q:What is the difference in Project and Task?
A: DekkoTime segments time entries by varying levels of detail. The highest level is to track time to an Organization. Any Organization is capable of having a Project associated with it. Tasks are more specific and specifically relate to a project.
Q:What if I want to stop using DekkoTime?
A: Why would you do that? If you decided to leave, we would be sad but there is no commitment so parting with us is easy. We also provide a great export feature to help you take your time entries with you.
Q:Is there a way to Edit Multiple entries at one time?
A: Great question. This is one of DekkoTime’s most powerful features. Administrators can update multiple time entries at once saving precious time when managing entries.
Q: I’ve completed a project now what?
A: If you’re tired of looking at that project, you have two options. First, you can simply remove the project from your ‘My Projects’ list. This will leave it for others to work on. Administrators can also archive a project to remove it from all views. You can even archive an entire organization.
Q: Does DekkoTime export to Financial Software?
A: Not currently, but Quickbooks integration is coming soon! By default, DekkoTime provides a CSV export that can be easily imported into a variety of systems and databases.
Q: What are ‘My Organization’ and ‘My Projects’ for?
A: For multi-user environments, DekkoTime provides a great method for users to stay focused on what is relevant to them. ‘My’ lists allow a user to specifically select the Organizations and Projects they want to see in their drop down menus. ‘My’ lists keep things simple and clean.
